Exploring African American History in Lilburn

Speaker: Deacon Gregory Bailey, Community Service Director at Salem Missionary Baptist Church

Where: The Apothecary, 107 Main Street Lilburn, GA 30047

Meeting Fee: $5 for visitors and free for LBA Members.

The history of Salem Missionary Baptist Church, began when a local slave owner made provisions for his slaves to gather on Sundays for worship. Deacon Bailey's family roots include his great-grandparents who lived their early lives as slaves in Lilburn.

Register Now Registration is not required but encouraged so we know to expect you. Visitors are welcome.
